Question 1: Do you have a system in place to track response time for pick up and drop off?
Response: No, the 633rd does not have a system that track response times.
Question 2: Who is the incumbent on this project?
Response: Legacy EMS Inc.
Question 3: Do you have a bid tabulation or previous solicitation number?
Response: FA480022Q0032 Question 4:What improvements are you looking for when transporting patients?
Response: Services required as stated in the Performance Work Statement Question 5: I've reviewed the solicitation documents and noted the discrepancies in the transport types and pricing schedule. I would like to request the addition of Critical Care/Emergency transports to the pricing schedule. Furthermore, the inclusion of CLINs for mileage and bariatric transports seems necessary for comprehensive pricing. Given that all listed destinations are within 30 miles, no mileage charges should apply, but a CLIN for mileage beyond this range would be beneficial. Lastly, due to the extra personnel required for bariatric transports, a flat fee per additional provider should be considered in the invoicing structure.
Response: Bariatric transports are not required. A mileage CLIN will not be added.
Critical Care Transport-Those transports would need to be ALS capable but are different based on the required response time being much sooner.
Question 6: Could please provide the incumbent contract number and awardee name?
Response: FA480022P0072, LEGACY EMS INC Question 7: Does this pricing request need to have mileage included? Typically, ambulance charges are a standard base rate for service level (BLS,ALS,SCT) plus mileage?
Response: Yes, your quote should encompass all cost the vendor deemed necessary. A mileage CLIN will not be added.
Question 8: Does this government contract have an established minimal hourly wage rates for ambulance providers?
Response 8: All employers are required to adhere to labor laws of the U.S. Department of Labor.
