Solicitation HSCGG1-16-B-PRV171 identified in Block 9A, for Hangar Reconfiguration at CG Base Cape Cod, MA, is amended as follows.

1. See questions/answers.

2. The due date for the proposal is NOT extended and remains as 26 July 2016.

Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the document referenced in Item 9A or 10A, as heretofore changed, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.

Question #1: What (if any) are the control system(s) manufacturer's (BMS) in buildings 3170 and 3172?

CEU Providence Response: Building 3170 currently has standalone manufacturer's controls; there is no BMS. Building 3172 currently has standalone manufacturer's controls; there is no BMS.

Question #2: If buildings 3170 and 3172 do have control systems, what are their communication protocol (i.e.

BACnet, LON)?

CEU Providence Response: Building 3170 currently has standalone manufacturer's controls; there is no BMS. BACnet protocol is required in the new systems. Building 3172 currently has standalone manufacturer's controls; there is no BMS. BACnet protocol is required in the new systems.

Question #3: Will each building require a dedicated front-end computer for the new BMS?

CEU Providence Response: For base bid, standalone manufacturer's controls will be used. For control-related bid options (#10-12), yes, a dedicated front end computer at each building will be required. For bid option #12, these will connect to the central Delta ATC system in building 3181 wirelessly.

Question #4: Are control systems or components by controls system manufacturers other than Delta Controls acceptable?

CEU Providence Response: Refer to 23 09 23.13 20 BACnet DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR HVAC at and including paragraph 1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION, and 1.2.1General. Control components and software provided shall be manufactured by, or compatible with, the existing Delta ATC system in building 3181.

Other open system/protocols are allowed as long as they are fully compatible (i.e., BACnet compatible) with the existing system at building 3181 and have the same capabilities. If connected to the existing ATC, the equipment provided shall have the capability to be monitored and controlled by the existing ATC system.
