Comprehensive Tactical Infrastructure Maintenance & Repair (CTIMR) Pre-Proposal Site Visits Solicitation Number: HSBP1010R0018 The purpose of this announcement is to notify offerors of the dates and other specifics for the pre-proposal visit for the CTIMR Requests for Proposal (RFP) for contract Area 1 (El Centro and San Diego Border Patrol Sectors).

Because access to tactical infrastructure (TI) sites is restricted, there will be only one Government-approved site visit and offerors are urged to participate. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Locations will be visited to give offerors a reasonable idea of the nature of the TI in each Sector, including TI described in the RFP Notional Work Plan and Cost Guidance.

Offerors will need to provide a four-wheeled drive vehicle capable of traversing rough border terrain. Each offeror will be limited to one vehicle. All vehicles will proceed to TI locations in a convoy escorted by local Border Patrol agents.

Questions will be collected on index cards during the site visit.

Please fill out the site visit registration form and fax it to 571-468-7190 or e-mail it as an attachment to CTIMR@cbp.dhs.gov by 28 January 2009 5:00 P.M. EST.
