COMMON REASON FOR INDIVIDUAL BID REJECTIONS

HQC00324B0001

Contractors should familiarize themselves with FAR 14.404-2 to avoid having your bid rejected by the Contracting Officer. Ensure your bid is responsive. To be considered for award, a bid must comply in all material respects with the invitation for bids. Such compliance enables bidders to stand on an equal footing and maintain the integrity of the sealed bidding system. A common reason for individual bid rejection is when a contractor fails to provide proper bid guarantee, when bid guarantee is required.

Bidders are advised that bids will be evaluated without discussions.

52.233-2 SERVICE OF PROTEST (SEP 2006)

Protests, as defined in section 33.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, that are filed directly with an agency, and copies of any protests that are filed with the Government Accountability Office (GAO), shall be served on the Contracting Officer (addressed as follows) by obtaining written and dated acknowledgment of receipt from Francisco Cruz.

Address:

Construction and Design Branch HQ DeCA/CCQEC 2250 Foulois St., Ste. 3 Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, TX 78236-1007

(b) The copy of any protest shall be received in the office designated above within one day of filing a protest with the GAO.
