About this file
This document is a Site Visit Vendor Questions document for a chiller replacement project at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Rome location. The document records four key questions and answers from a mandatory site visit on July 16, 2025, related to the HQ042325QE055 solicitation. Key details include confirmation that existing chiller pumps will remain in service, chillers must meet specific Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements, concrete pads can be altered to accommodate larger units, and new electrical conductors must be provided from the power source to the new chiller units. A statement from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) indicates that for Chillers 1 and 2, piping insulation replacement for supply and return chilled water lines will include replacing insulation and elbows identified by surveyor's tape.
