About this file

This document contains Contractor Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for the Construct 3D Printer Room project. Key details include:

There is no finished ceiling in the project area, as the walls extend up to the roof deck. Hazardous materials are not a concern for this project, built in 1998, so no abatement is required. All contractor and subcontractor personnel are prohibited from bringing the items listed in Attachment G into the facility, except when pre-approved for specific needs like equipment programming. The solicitation incorrectly stated a 30-day delivery period, which has been corrected to 300 days in Amendment 0001.

# Date Document Section Question Answer 1 7/17/2024 1.There is no provided Finish Schedule for the

Printer Room 1-042B. Although Dwg No A1 does have a Material Finish Legend. The only ceiling finish remarks are 4. Ceiling Paint Not Used. Is this correct that there will be no ceiling finish scope for this project?

There is no finished ceiling. Walls extend up to the bottom of the roof deck, with no finished ceiling.

2 7/17/2024 2.There is no reference to any Asbestos Abatement or Lead Paint Remediation involved for this project. Has there been any recent HMA Survey conducted that indicates this for exiting Electrical Room 1-042A? If so, can you publish this document?

Due to the age of the building, circa 1998, hazardous materials are not considered to be a concern. Therefore, there is no consideration for remediation of hazardous materials.

3 7/17/2024 3.A achment G indicates Prohibited Items List for any NGA Buildings. Will this be enforced for all contractor and subcontractor personnel on-site for the duration of the project execution? If so, is there a process/pass procedure to get authorization for certain personnel for the project? Or at least a procedure for scheduled/arranged times to allow certain devices for specific project needs?

Items listed in Attachment G are prohibited inside the facility for all individuals. For purposes related to specific contract requirements, such as equipment programming and commissioning for example, a pass can be processed in advance and issued for specific items such as laptop computers that are required for the task. Otherwise, listed devices must remain outside the building.

4 7/17/2024 4.What is the intent of nota on “Delivery: 30 Days After Award” on Page 4 of the Solicitation?

When this is not the stated Period of Performance for this project.

This was a typo and should have said 300 days. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and we have corrected this in Amendment 0001
