SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

QUESTION AND ANSWER

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

1.) How many square feet of raised flooring are you looking to get a quote on for rooms A,B,C?

SEL42 Response: See PWS (HC102820R0018.pdf) section 6.2.1.3.

2.) What is the finished floor height that you are looking to have for each room? (Note: the finished floor height is the measurement from the concrete slab to the top of the new false floor)

SEL42 Response: The replacement raised floor height shall match the existing height, approximately 24”.

3.) What is the correct PSI load rating that you are needing? Note: I saw that the specifications required 2500

PSI for solid raised floor panels but then the perforated panels only required a 1250 PSI. These are 2 different concentrated load ratings and if you need the concreted load rates to exceed 1500 PSI, then the perforated panels would not work. If a standard 1250 PSI works, then would it be ok to proceed with a quote on raised flooring material that has a standard PSI load rating of 1250? Also, I know room A is a computer room, but what is room B and C?

SEL42 Response: The correct PSI load requirements are listed in Appendix B. The two different floor panels have two different PSI loading requirements.

4.) High Pressure Laminate sheets on a concrete raised floor panel comes in a standard thickness of 1/16" not

1/8". 1/8" is considered a customized thickness. Are you sure that you need a 1/8" thickness on a high pressure laminate sheet?

SEL42 Response: Please follow the requirements listed in Appendix B (1/8” thickness required).

5.) How many entrances (doors) are in each room?

SEL42 Response: Varies by room, see Concept Plan (Appendix A).

6.) How many ramps and/or steps are you needing for each entrance?

SEL42 Response: None required, see Concept Plan (Appendix A).

7.) I also was having trouble opening the drawings, can you please send me a copy of the drawings, so that I can see the layout?

SEL42 Response: Yes, we can provide new PDF for the Concept Drawings (Appendix A). Appendix A is attached to this Amendment 00003.

8.) How many perforated panels are you needing for each room?

SEL42 Response: See PWS (HC102820R0018.pdf) section 6.2.1.3.

9.) When are you looking to purchase this material and when do you need this material delivered?

SEL42 Response: See PWS (HC102820R0018.pdf) section 10, period of performance is one-year (12 months).

Material delivery and installation shall be as per contractor’s approved installation plan (PWS section 6.1.8).
