About this file
This is a General Information Sheet and Request for Quote form used by Jones County Schools in Georgia for eRFQ #23-55. However, there is a significant discrepancy between the form's billing entity (Jones County Schools, attention Raymond Braziel) and the associated contract opportunity, which pertains to Henry County's construction of an aquatic center and outdoor water park located at 1177 Henry Parkway Connector in McDonough, Georgia. The solicitation requested proposals for general contractor and pool builder services to construct a Type II A building housing a 50-meter competition pool, therapy warm pool, outdoor zero-entry pool, lazy river, activity pool, and water features or slides with associated sitework. The proposal deadline was July 13, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. local time, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for March 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time via Zoom. Contractors were required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary to complete the project. Proposals could not be withdrawn for sixty days following the submission deadline except as permitted under the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.
The solicitation specified that bids must be typewritten or printed in ink and fully comply with attached eRFQ documents, special terms and conditions, and specifications. Bidders were required to provide complete supplier information, including tax identification numbers, and certify that their bids were made without collusion or fraud in compliance with state and federal law. The RFP ultimately closed with no award, as no proposals were received by the deadline. Henry County reserved the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities in the bidding process.
