About this file

This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for Surveying Services issued by the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) as part of their On-Call Consultant Services (OCCS) Procurement for 2025-2027. ACHD seeks professional surveyors licensed in Idaho to provide on-call surveying services supporting three primary categories: Capital Project Design, Right-of-Way, and Transportation Facility Construction. Surveyors will be required to demonstrate relevant experience performing these services within the last five years. The services include tasks such as setting project control, determining boundaries, referencing monumentation, gathering topographic data, preparing legal descriptions, staking right-of-way and easement lines, and supporting construction activities.

ACHD typically utilizes contractual surveying services for boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and construction surveying. This procurement is part of ACHD's periodic process to establish an on-call consultant list, with the upcoming list set to become effective on October 1, 2024, and terminate on September 30, 2027. All responsive proposals will be evaluated, and the document indicates that the district will consider proposals from qualified surveying firms capable of supporting various transportation infrastructure needs across boundary, topographic, and construction surveying domains.

• Right-of-Way – This may include preparation of legal descriptions for right-of-way acquisition, staking existing and proposed right-of-way lines, property lines as well as existing and proposed easement lines, and

• Road, Intersection, Bridge, and other Transportation Facility Construction.

Surveyors must identify relevant experience performing the above-listed categories of service within the last five (5) years.
