5. Question: Refer to article VIII.E.1.d. of Attachment A (Statement of Work). Please provide a list of hazardous waste that needs to be removed so we can include this in our basis of bid (if applicable).
Response: Existing hazardous materials associated with the structures scheduled for demolition are addressed within the following specification sections:
| 02 82 13 Asbestos Abatement |
| 02 83 13.00 20 Lead Hazard Control Activities |

The site (the grounds) has NOT been tested for Hazardous Materials. If the Contractor encounters Hazardous Materials during excavation, trenching and earth moving activities, the Contractor shall halt the work and notify the Owner immediately.
6. Question: Refer to article 3.1 of specification section 01 22 00. Please confirm that a unit price should only be provided for the 6” casing per option #5 on the bid form.
Response: No price for 14” casing is requested.
7. Question: Please confirm that subcontractors names will be provided within 10 days of contract award per article L.6.d. of the solicitation and not article 1.2.D. of specification section 01 62 00. This is not included in article L.13.b. of the solicitation. Please confirm.
Response: Confirmed, subcontractor names are not required with the proposal. Instead, subcontractor names will be submitted by the awardee within 10 days after contract award.
8. Question: Please confirm that builders risk insurance will be provided by the owner.
Response: The contractor is responsible for the insurance types and amounts in clause 1452.228-70 Liability Insurance at section I.108.
9. Question: Please inform what type of valve we should use for the yard PVC line. Reference drawing C-4 shows the proposed 4” valve, but there is no specified note which mentions anything about type of the valve.
Response: All waterline valves are to be in accordance with Section 33 11 00 page 10.
10. Question: Reference Drawings A101, A102, A103, Door Schedule, the door schedule states that the Overhead Doors are 6’-2” in width; however, the floor plan indicates the doors will be 6’-4” wide. Please clarify which measurement is correct.
Response: The door width is to be 6’-2”, with a clear opening width of 6’-0” as noted on sheet A104.
11. Question: Article L.13. (Instructions to Offerors) requires both SF1442 including pricing and the price breakdown at Attachment J to be included in the proposal submission. Please confirm that SF1442 with pricing can be submitted with the proposal submission and Attachment J can be submitted by the low bidder prior to award. Considering the fact that many of the quotes come into the general contractor late (even up to the last hour before the bid), it will be very difficult to complete Attachment J with a high level of accuracy. In addition, there are no columns for equipment and subcontractor on Attachment J.
Response: Attachment J should be included with the proposal submission. If requested by the Contracting Officer, Attachment J may be updated between proposal submission and time of contract award. Equipment and subcontractor columns: 1) equipment should be included in the Materials/Labor Subtotal column and 2) subcontractor costs are intended to be included in the breakdown, allocated to the appropriate item.
12. Question: Please clarify the size of pipeline running from 2000 Gal Septic Tank in Coburn Area. Reference drawing CC-4 shows 6” S from the septic tank and drawing CC-7 shows 4” S from the tank.
