About this file
This file contains Questions and Answers for a federal solicitation (FA9401-26-Q-0001) for Aircrew Facility Support at Kirtland Air Force Base. The solicitation is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 561210, with a $47M size standard. Key details include a response deadline of 10 November 2025, a quote validity of 90 days, and working hours from 9:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Friday. The Q&A clarifies numerous operational specifics, such as no incumbent for this new requirement, government-provided linens and towels, basic daily room cleaning services, and on-call hours outside normal duty times.
The questions and answers provide granular insights into facility maintenance expectations, including weekly cleaning of common areas, trash receptacle sizes, absence of emergency generators, recent facility assessments, and specific cleaning responsibilities. Notable clarifications include that personal care products are not required, environmental inspections have been basic, electrical and plumbing systems have been tested, and the facility has no elevator. A separate contract for Aircrew Linen Laundry services is referenced, and the government notes that funds are not currently available, reserving the right to cancel the solicitation.
