Question Set 7
26 June 2024
Question/Response:
In regards to the keyed locked required for the mobile aisle:
1. Do you want all locks to be keyed the same we are assuming?
2. Does this need to be completely secured? You would still be able to access the mobile aisle by climbing through the pallet rack from either side since there was no requirement for panels or rack guard on either side. When rolled up against the modular cabinets with overheads it would be secured from that side, but still open on the other with the stationary carriage. If it needs to be completely secured, you will either need rack guard on the pallet rack, or panels cut to fit.
There is no requirement for key locks on the mobile aisle system
