About this file
This document contains a request for proposal for a mobile aircraft arresting system. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base is seeking proposals for an eight-year fixed-price contract to manufacture and produce two mobile aircraft arresting system units. Each unit will house one barrier arresting kit-12 rotary friction energy absorber and contain all components of a fixed base arresting system along with necessary installation and removal tools. The mobile units must be transportable by land, sea, and air. This will be a competitive total small business set-aside solicitation evaluated using trade-off procedures, with past performance considered significantly more important than price. Foreign participation is not limited. Interested offerors should contact the listed points of contact for any questions, and the drawing package will be provided separately upon request.
