About this file
This document contains a GPU Engine Derating Calculation Worksheet template for a 72kW Ground Power Unit solicitation. The worksheet requires offerors to input electrical load, alternator, and engine performance data to calculate available engine power and ensure it meets worst case electrical load requirements. Offerors must justify any unused derating factors or instances where electrical load does not equal the greatest output from alternators. Instructions specify using whole numbers and listing additional derating factors or loads not already provided. The solicitation number is FA8532-21-R-72GPU from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base.
