About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a solicitation for a strategic replenishment contract. The solicitation seeks to award multiple contracts for the sourcing, acquisition, and delivery of approximately 500 national stock numbers of common support equipment across 60 federal stock classes for the Air Force, Foreign Military Sales, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve. Items include aerial stores lift trucks, aircraft engine trailers, air conditioners and heaters, base and aircraft arresting systems, and various electronic and mechanical aircraft maintenance testers. The period of performance is ten years including a one-year basic contract period followed by nine 12-month ordering periods. The acquisition is set aside for small business and will utilize technically acceptable source selection procedures to make a best value award decision, with an anticipated release of the solicitation on September 23, 2020 and award from May to June 2021. Questions regarding additional item details or an extension to the February 16, 2021 response date were answered respectively as referring offerors to thoroughly review the solicitation and not extending the response deadline.

Questions and Answers 1/27/21
1. Question:
How do I find more detail on the equipment listed in the SRC NSN for RFP excel listed? We are only able to supply on certain listed items and would like to learn more but cannot see any other detail in the other attachments.
Answer:
The instant solicitation is for the sourcing, acquisition, and delivery of a broad range of ground and aircraft common support equipment (CSE) end items. The RFP includes the current NSNs, Part Numbers, and CLINs for each item. The NSN spreadsheet was uploaded as supporting documentation to initial Request for Information announcement and is not an attachment to the solicitation. A review of the RFP and all of the attachments in their entirety as listed in Part III, Section J of the Solicitation provides the NSNs, Statement of Work, Data Requirements, and Evaluation Criteria applicable to this requirement. Deliverable items will be procured via award of individual delivery orders. Additional information (if available) specific to equipment (qualified sources or data) will be released on individual delivery orders. Deliverable items will be procured via award of individual delivery orders.
2. Question:
Offeror requested extension of proposal response date.
Answer: The solicitation was released on 15 Jan 2021. The current due date of 16 Feb gives the offeror 30 days from the release of the formal solicitation (FA8532-21-R-0004) to provide a response. The Government provided the draft RFP and draft RFP attachments in August 2020. Based on the low complexity of the proposal submission requirements, as well as the availability of the draft RFP, RFP attachments, the expected evaluation criteria, and the availability of the PPI tool months before the official solicitation release date, the Government will not extend the response date at this time.
