About this file
This document contains an advance notice for a solicitation seeking depot support services for F-16 aircraft allocated to the United States Air Forces in Europe. The Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center plans to issue a competitive solicitation for a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a five-year option period. The contractor will perform depot-level maintenance and repair at a contractor-operated facility located within the specified competition circle, primarily supporting F-16 aircraft allocated to USAFE but also able to support overflow requirements for all USAF F-16 aircraft. Additionally, the contractor will provide Contractor Field Teams to perform depot-level repairs at any location excluding combat zones on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes core defined depot activities, predefined programmatic work, and unplanned drop-in maintenance such as aircraft coating removal and painting, inspections, and intake surface repair. Programmed work includes major modifications and repairs such as longeron repair/replacement and wing repair/replacement. The contract ceiling amount is $250 million, and questions should be directed to the specified contracting officers.

Amendment 5, Question & Answer set 9:
Our group feels that the answer to this question is still not clear: (added the bold wording in parenthesis)
Our Question: “Please confirm that CLIN 0059 will only be executed in conjunction with CLIN 0058 (and that CLINS 0058 and 0059 will never be requested independently from one another). The title of TCTO 2726 is “REPLACEMENT OF UPPER WING SKIN AND MODIFICATION OF LOWER WING SKIN.”
For the purposes of pricing, they will never be requested independently of one another. There may be unforeseen difficulties that arise throughout the execution of the contract, so in order to mitigate risk, please conceptualize and price them separately. However, in principal, our intent is to order these CLINs as a couple.
