About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Air Force Sustainitation Center Solicitation FA8201-26-R-0007 concerning an Air Traffic Control and Landing System (ATCALS) Equipment Infrastructure Upgrade at Hill Air Force Base, Utah and the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR). The document was issued as a live document as of March 23, 2026, and will be updated through the final question deadline of April 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM MDT. The single question addressed in the document clarifies that this is a new requirement and not a renewal or continuation of a previous contract, despite the Air Force having executed similar infrastructure upgrade contracts in the past.
The solicitation is structured as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 8, 2026 at 8:00 AM MDT, with advance registration required by April 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM MDT to jonathan.visounnaraj@us.af.mil. Prospective offerors are limited to three employees per company attending the site visit and must provide names, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and state of issuance. Written questions must be submitted to the same contact by April 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM MDT. The government emphasizes that an award will not be modified to accommodate an offeror's failure to understand requirements, making the site visit strongly encouraged for all interested parties.
