About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Battery Replacement Services solicitation FA8125-25-Q-0060, issued by the Department of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The Q&A provides detailed specifications for battery replacements across multiple buildings, including specific battery model numbers such as 12-490MR (3708), 12-300MR (3907), and HRL 12540 (3707), with multiple equipment IDs requiring battery replacements ranging from 80 to 120 Valve Regulated Lead Acid batteries.
The document addresses key logistical considerations for battery replacement, including access limitations, transportation challenges, and site-specific requirements. Notably, there are no loading docks for semi-trailers, with Buildings 3707 and 3708 having forklift availability and Building 3907 requiring manual unloading. The battery replacement schedule indicates batteries in "Item 0002" will be replaced during the Base Year and potentially again in Option Year 3. There is no incumbent service provider, and special considerations include floor protection requirements in Building 3907, where rubber or poly wheels are recommended for transporting batteries.
