About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for the replacement of an HVAC system in Air Force Building #1651 at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth, Texas.
The RFI seeks details on the existing 14-ton VRF heat recovery condensing unit and associated mode control units (MCUs) and air handling units (AHUs). Specifically, it asks whether the 14-ton unit is a single module or part of a larger multi-unit system, and requests the model numbers of the MCUs and indoor AHUs. The contracting agency, the Department of the Air Force Reserve Command, is gathering information to support a forthcoming solicitation for a turnkey project to replace the existing HVAC system components.
