About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Statement of Work (SOW) issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Force Reserve Command, dated 19 September 2025. The addendum specifically revises paragraph 3.01.B.2 of the original SOW (Reference: QJKL 24-0014, 01 July 2025) for a project involving repair of FACP & MNS at facilities B821 & B870.
The revision clarifies hazardous area classification requirements for two specific areas: the Hangar Bay and Corrosion Control area. The Hangar Bay is now defined as Class I Division 2 for 18 inches above the floor and 18 inches below the roof, while the Corrosion Control area is classified as Class I Division 2 throughout. The purpose of this revision is to ensure proper design and implementation of electrical and safety systems in these locations, with the document signed by Theodore Tio, Engineering Flight Chief of the 934th CE/CEC.
