1. EACH ITEM OF THE SCHEDULE IS INCLUSIVE OF FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT, SCAFFOLDING, TRANSPORTATION TO DUMP OR STORAGE OF DEMOLISHED AND/OR REMOVED MATERIALS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACTING OFFICER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL FINISHING WORK

REQUIRED TO MAKE EACH ITEM COMPLETE IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER.

2. ALL THE QUANTITIES THAT ARE INDICATED OR SUCCESSIVELY ADDED, ARE ESTIMATES. THEREFORE THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF THE ESTIMATED QUANTITIES.

THE CONTRACT REQUIRES A COMPLETED PROJECT ON A LUMP SUM BASIS. IT IS THEREFORE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO CALCULATE, FORESEE AND PERFORM ALL QUANTITIES AND WORK NECESSARY EVEN IF NOT MENTIONED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS BUT INCLUDED IN THE DRAWINGS OR

PART I - DEMOLITIONS, EXCAVATIONS AND REMOVALS

Ia Architectural Works

1 REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL IN

ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE NORMS. BLDG 1191,1192,1193 & 1194

Item includes:

- Preparation of all required documentation, not limited to removal plan, to be submitted to ASS for approval;

- Survey;

- Removal of asbestos from doors gaskets, in accordance with applicable norms

- Loading and transportation of resulting materials to authorized dump area.

- All operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work and in accordance with applicable norms requirements;

1 REMOVING EXISTING MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS OF THE MONO SPLIT

SYSTEM AND OF THE AIR EXTRACTION. COMPLETE OF PUBBLIC DUMP FEE.

- Remove mechanical equipment, except water system.

- Loading and transportation of resulting materials to authorized dump area and the payment of the dump fees, or delivering to the Contracting Officer upon his instruction;

- All operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work.

Ie Electrical Works

1 DISCONNECTION AND REMOVAL OF ALL EXISTING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM and communication systems, such us interior main distribution panel, distribution lines, power outlets, lighting fixtures and switches, rack, cables, in accordance with project drawings.

Contractor shall call 31°SFS/S5ESS one week prior starting the work (0434- 307761). 31°SFS will provide the coordination for the deactivation of the IDS and disconnection required of any cable of the system.

Contractor shall call 31° CS/SCXP two weeks prior starting the work (0434- 307526 or 0434-3069690. 31 CS will provide a technician to remove all reusable 31 CS assets from the PASs in coordination with the Contractor.

Anything 31 CS cannot reuse will be left with the Contractor for disposable.

1 DOORS SEALS

Furnishing and installation of door seals, type TESPE ECO-B1-R1 or equivalent, with this characteristics:

- Round gasket;

- Gasket are made of calcium/silicate fiber wool, reinforced with steel wires;

- Guarantees excellent flexibility and good mechanical resistance;

- Gasket shall be asbestos free and ceramic free, it shall not irritate;

- Gasket resists a continuous heat of 1050°C, max heat if 1200°C;

- Minimum diameter 60mm;

2 ADJUSTING EPOXY RESIN FLOOR COATING

Special Notes for starting work:

- Before to start the paint process, the surface must be exempt from condense;

- It is required the accurate protection of all the equipment as electrical, mechanical, air ducts, fire alarm, communication, etc. before starting of works.

- Use of water is not permitted.

- Contractor shall perform the resin works and joints seal as prescribed by the producer and as suggested by Ente Nazionale CONPAVIPER.

- The color to use is RAL 9002.

Item includes:

- floor adjustment, after the winch removal, Mechanical shoot blasting of floor surface up to 2.0mm, to remove rough resin treatment, oil residual, superficial finishes of nude industrial floor and to prepare an adequate surface for resin application.

Removal and dumping to authorized dump of removed resin material and debris and dust vacuum, supply and installation of primer coating, supply and installation of one layer of tri components epoxy resin treatment “controspinta” via spatula (no via roll), including Surface smoothing and dust vacuum. (Supply and installation of first layer of tri components epoxy resin treatment via spatula (no via roll) adding corundum (same size of all other PASs) to create antiskid surface, including surface smoothing and surplus corundum vacuum - supply and installation of second layer of tri components epoxy resin treatment via spatula (no via roll), including Surface smoothing and dust vacuum - supply and installation of final layer of tri components epoxy resin treatment “scratch proof” via spatula (no via roll);

Final coating will be added with corundum antiskid mesh same size of all other PASs

3 Field investigation to find the existing underground utilities in order to optimize the routing of the new cable ducts and to avoid any interference with the existing underground utilities. Before starting any works, the Contractor shall verify the locations, the existence and elevation of all existing underground utilities in the area selected as new cable ducts routing, and can propose a different cable ducts routings in order to avoid any interference with the existing underground utilities. The differences in length between the new routings and the designed ones shall not cause additional costs for the Government.

IIIa HVAC Systems

Unless otherwise indicated in the single items, all items listed below are intended to be furnished and installed, connected and completed with all the accessories necessary to furnish the equipment operating in a perfect manner.

It shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to perform installations and furnish materials that conform with Norms, Regulations and Italian Laws.

All materials shall bear the Italian Quality Mark.

All machines, equipment and electric and mechanical components shall conform to D.P.R. No. 459 dated 24 July 1996 with "CE" Mark.

1 GALVANIZED SHEET METAL DUCT, COMPLETE BY SUPPORTS AND

ACCESSORIES.

For exhaust air with suction grid, anti-vibration supports, fittings, anti-insect screens, accessories, connections, vent, etc.

4 CONTAINER FOR FILTERS IN LINE

The containers are modular and versatile systems that fit in cell filters, with soft and rigid pockets, and activated carbon filters mod. CAB.

They are very easy to install and floor this reason they are used in all those cases where it is necessary to insert a single or multiple (with a series of filters) filtration stage to obtain filtration levels up to F9.

The containers are made of galvanized sheet steel and are fitted with an access door with eccentric locking cam, with a closed cell neoprene gasket on the ledge. The filter is locked by a double eccentric lever.

Perforated flanges fitted at air inlet/outlet.

Technical data:

The pleated filters have good filtration efficiency levels for average size particles and high holding capacities, besides having a robust construction.

The synthetic fiber medium is positioned in a pleated way to offer a larger filtration surface, compared to flat panel filters with the same size. The pleated medium furthermore assure a higher dust holding capacity. The frame is in galvanized steel sheet and it is held between two electrically welded galvanized steel holding grids. Pressure varies according to the type of filter and the thickness. The regenerable medium type allows you to use the filters for a long time, thus reducing management costs.

PART IV – ELECTRICAL WORK

IV Electrical Systems Unless otherwise indicated in the single items, all items listed below are intended to be furnished and installed, connected and completed with all the accessories necessary to furnish the equipment operating in a perfect manner. 1 ADJUSTING AND REVAMPING EXISTING AUTOMATIC MOTOR SYSTEM AND

EQUIPMENT - BLDG’s 1191,1192,1193 & 1194 Provision and installation of new Motor control system to be installed in Zones 2 ATEX, as indicated on the project drawings. New motor control system will consist of new motors and new motor reduced gears for door operations, new control panels containing the contactors and the automatisms necessary to control the door opening and closing, including safety devices such as limit switches, speed control sensors, IR barriers and the doors controllers to control the motor doors.

Control Panels shall have minimum classification Ex-d IIA T3 2G as per ATEX classification. Control Panels shall be provided complete with contactors, pilot lights and all other accessories including the interior wiring connections provided with fireproof type cables. Control Panels shall be fully factory assembled. Control Panels shall be provided in metal boxes type CORTEM EJB-… or equal approved, in sufficient number to house all electrical components as shown on the project drawings (i.e. also the motor control inverters even though they shall be installed outside the classified area, see belew), including the existing safety devices that shall be replaced with new ones explosion proof type. The control panels shall be mounted in galvanized steel structure. Before starting the works the Contractor shall verify on site the existing door operation system, including a complete survey, to better identify the number and type of the equipment to be provided in the new Control Panels, and the safety devices. The Contractor shall submit for approval to the Contracting Officer the Control Panels shop drawings and the operating schematic diagrams to assure, for the new Control Panels the same operational characteristics of the existing. The Doors Controllers shall have minimum classification Ex-d IIA T3 2G as per ATEX classification.

The door controllers shall be provided in metal boxes type CORTEM EJB-… or equal approved, mounted in galvanized steel structure and shall contain all pilot lights, push buttons and alarm keys as indicated on the project drawings.

- metal enclosure IP65 for outdoor installation, to be installed outside the classified area, close the one required for item 3, to house the motor control inverters. Work also includes the connections between transformers and MDP with steel conduit and Ex-d type boxes.

Before starting the works the Contractor shall submit for approval to the Contracting Officer the Doors Controllers shop drawings and the operating schematic diagrams.

The door motors and motor reduced gears shall have minimum classification Ex-de IIC T4 2G as per ATEX classification and shall be CEMP or equal approved, for the motors and ROSSI for the reduced motor gears. Before starting the works the Contractors shall verify on site the exact power, size and type of the existing motors and motor reduced gears to be replaced by new having the same electrical and mechanical features including the coupling system. Before starting the works the Contractor shall submit the new door motors and motor reduced gears manufacturer’s data, shop drawings and schematic diagrams for approval, to the Contracting Officer, to assure a fully compatibility with the existing motor reduced gears to be left in place.

2 ADJUSTING AND REVAMPING ELECTRICAL PANEL QBT INSEDE BUILDING 15/71192-

17/71193-18/71189 .SEE DRAWING.

Adjusting and revamping/modify existing electrical Low Voltage (LV) Main Distribution Panels (MDP) panel, inside electrical substations:

- 15/71192 (see Drawings EP-02);

- 17/71193 (see Drawings EP-01);

- 18/71189 (see Drawings EP-03);

To have TN-S main breakers instead of existing TN-C one.

Item includes all operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work. ls 1

3 "MDP" ELECTRICAL PANEL - EXPLOSION PROOF BLDG’s 1191,1192,1193 & 1194

Provision and installation of new Main Distribution Panels (MDP) to be installed in Zone 2 ATEX, as indicated on the project drawings. Panels shall have minimum classification Ex-d IIA T3 2G as per ATEX classification. Panels shall be provided complete with circuit breakers, contactors, selector switches, pilot lights and all other accessories including the interior wiring connections provided with fireproof type cables. Panels shall be fully factory assembled. Panels shall be provided in metal boxes type CORTEM EJB-... or equal approved, in sufficient number to house all electrical components as shown on the project drawings. The MDP shall be mounted in galvanized steel structure. Before starting the work the Contractor shall submit for approval to the Contracting Officer the panel schematic diagrams and shop drawings.

Item includes:

- Electrical Panels complete with circuit breakers, contactors, pilot lights, SPD, fully factory assembled, as shown on the schematic diagrams;

- 5kVA 230/110V dry type transformer in IP 65 metal enclosure for outdoor installation, to be installed outside the classified area, as indicated on the project drawing. Work also includes the connections between transformers and MDP with steel conduit and Ex-d type boxes.

- overhead for weather protection made of stainless steel for the external box;

- UPN 100 hot galvanized steel structure;

- Mounting and support accessories;

- Connection from the existing generator cable to new interlocked switch on new MDP. Contractor shall provide Ex-d junction boxes, rigid steel conduits, cables joints if necessary, size and type as the existing, and other necessary works to complete the work in workmanlike manner;

- All operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work.

4 SECONDARY ELECTRICAL PANEL

Supply and installation of the electrical panel, according with the drawing. Item includes all operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work. Item includes all revisions reported in the electrical drawings.

5 CONDUITS OF HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE

Provision and installation of new 2 Ways cable ducts for the main distribution panel MDP of the building, as indicated on the project drawing C-1. The cable duct shall be realized with a heavy rigid 160 mm diameter PVC pipes, thickness of the pipe walls

4.5 mm, covered with C20/25 Class concrete, and it shall depart from the existing electrical cable manhole of the Substation and it will arrive in a new exterior manhole close to the building.

Item includes:

- Installation of 10 prefabricated cable manholes with C20/25 Class concrete, conforming to the existing norms; including heavy traffic cast iron cover and frame type DN 250.

- The equipotential connections of the metallic masses, including the cover and the reinforcement bars, with FS17 cable, section 16 mm2, complete of terminals, anchoring for the drawing of the cables, cable racks and necessary accessories for the proper installation and service.

- The cut and the removal of pavements and sidewalks.

- The excavation of soil of any kind and consistence, including rock, with mechanical means, 70 cm width trench and various depths for the installation of the cable duct in compatible manner with the existing utilities.

The average depth of the trench shall be 90 cm.

- The leveling and the compaction of the bottom of the trench and the addition of necessary excavation for the construction of the manholes.

- The installation of warning red PVC tape with the writing “HIGH VOLTAGE

ELECTRIC”.

- The filling in layers of the trenches and the compaction to the maximum density.

- The leveling of the surfaces.

- Drilling of existing reinforced concrete walls and foundation slab beams with core boring machine;

- Provision and installation of diameter 2” galvanized rigid steel conduit, as electrical service entrance;

- Restoration of walls, and foundation slab;

- Restoration of existing waterproofing;

- Sealing of the holes;

- The restoration of the paved areas to match the existing conditions.

- Transportation of the result materials to the authorized dump site.

- The payment of the dump fees.

- All operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work.

Supply And Installation At Sight, Or Digging Within Wells, Conduits Of 2 High-Density Polyethylene "HDPE” Diam. 160, according with the drawing. Item includes all operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work.

6 MAIN ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

Supply and installation of main electrical distribution system. Conductors shall be flexible fireproof cable type FG16(O)R complete with insulated pressure wire terminals, circuit indicating tags and all accessories necessary for the proper execution of connections.

a) Furnish and install cable FG16(O)R16 type - section 1x25 sq.mm. m 600

7 SECONDARY ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

Supply and installation of secondary electrical distribution systems. Conductors shall be flexible fireproof cable type FG16OR16 complete with insulated pressure wire terminals, circuit indicating tags and all accessories necessary for the proper execution of connections.

13 FIXTURE LIGHT

For each building the main lights circuit, item 13 a), shall be controlled through an occupancy sensors housed into an ATEX box, provided with three steps switcher for manual bypass to choose, Manual-0-Automatic control.

Occupancy sensor shall be located to monitor the entire interior surface of the building.

20 DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY - AS BUILT – INITIAL GROUNDING TEST

Realize final test electrical systems in accordance with the standards CEI 64-8/6 and CEI EN 60079-17. Submittal electrical work certifications in accordance with standard DM 37/08 and AS-BUILT drawings.

Perform initial grounding test performed by Notified Body IAW DPR 462-01. ls 1

21 GAS DETECTION SYSTEMS

Furnishing and installation of a gas detection system. Item includes all operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work, wiring, electrical cable in accordance with EN 50200, pipe/conduits until local junction box, ATEX connection up to the upright. The galvanized steel pipe and junction boxes must be painted red.

All the control panels (Gas detection and Monaco BT-X) shall be housed inside dedicated in IP 65 metal enclosure for outdoor installation, outside the classified area.

Work also includes the connections each motherboard and the ATEX rated piping inside the classified area. Overhead for weather protection made of stainless steel for the external box shall be provided as well.

Alarm system consisting of the following items:

a) Furnish and install loop cable for gas alarm detectors and accessories (e.g. I/O units, etc …) - section 2x1,00 sq.mm. m 400

b) Furnish and install loop cable for gas detection bells and audiovisual alarms, etc. - section 2x1,50 sq.mm. m 150

25 IDS ALARM PANEL

Supply and install new power line, together with new piping, and piping for the FO line for the existing IDS consist of the followings:

- Diam 1” conduits, Steel Fe 360 UNI 7683 type, hot galvanized as per UNI 5745, with UNI 6125 threading;

- Galvanized steel diam 1” three way junctions in accordance with UNI 4721, with UNI 6125 threading, Ex-d IIB T3 2G rated as per ATEX classification;

- Alloy aluminum bends with UNI 6125 threading, Ex-d IIC T3 2G rated as per ATEX classification;

- Diam. 1” lock off couplings, alloy aluminum type, with UNI 6125 threading, Ex-d IIC T3 2G rated as per ATEX classification;

- Diam. 1” nipple, UNI 4721 galvanized steel type, with UNI 6125 threading, Ex-d IIC T3 2G rated as per ATEX classification;

- Diam. 1” flexible conduits, stainless steel type, with UNI 6125 threading, Ex-d IIC T3 2G rated as per ATEX classification;

- Diam. 1” cable bushings, galvanized steel type, with ISO 7/1 threading, Ex-d IIC T3 2G rated as per ATEX classification;

- Cables shall be flexible fireproof cable complete with insulated pressure wire terminals, circuit indicating tags and all accessories necessary for the proper execution of connections.

Item includes:

- Mounting and support accessories;

- All operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work.

Contractor shall call 31°SFS/S5ESS one week prior starting the work (0434-307761).

Reinstalling of any cable of the IDS shall be performed by the Contractor in coordination with 31°SFS/S5ESS 31°SFS will provide the coordination for the reactivation of the IDS and reconnection required of any cable of the system.

26 RECONNECT EXISTING COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS OR DEVICES BLDG’s 1191, 1192, 1193, 1194 Contractor shall call 31° CS/SCXP two weeks prior starting the work (0434-307526 or 0434-3069690.

Contractor shall call 31°SFS/S5ESS one week prior starting the work (0434-307761).

Reinstalling of any cable of the IDS shall be performed by the Contractor in coordination with 31°SFS/S5ESS Reconnect existing communication system or devices. Item includes all operations necessary for the workmanlike execution of the work, wiring, and piping/conduits until local junction box.

Notes Terminate FO cable in cabinet/rack-mounted patch panels, and at the outlet using LC type connectors in accordance with the appropriate TIA-604 series document. Do not use ST or MT-RJ fiber optic adapters and connectors for new construction unless specifically required for interface with existing equipment reused on installations.

Provide fiber optic adapters and connectors in accordance with the appropriate TIA- 604 Fiber Optic Connector Intermateability Standard (FOCIS). Provide individual patch panels and distribution panels with 12 duplex LC, SC or MT-RJ adapters or 24 ST adapters maximum. ls 1

1. All electric wirings will need to be "CPR" compliant;

2. Provide to adequate weather protection made of stainless steel protection against sun and rain far top side of external installed panels in order to preserve their IP characteristics during their expected life;
