About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a badge security system expansion project for the 36th Medical Group at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. The project requires installing 89 new badge readers across three buildings (26009, 26012, and 26001), with comprehensive system integration requirements. The new badge readers must be compatible with the existing Symmetry Enterprise Version 8.1 software and include a complete turnkey solution involving a server, laptop, badge printer, network switches, door hardware, and other accessories.

Key requirements include programming and integrating the new badge readers with the pre-existing system, setting up a central workstation in the Facility Management department, providing online training for two staff members, and completing an assessment of existing systems. The contractor must respond within 24 hours for any service issues, provide repairs during normal clinic hours, and complete the entire project within 6 months. Additional specifications mandate that all materials be commercial/industrial quality and made in the U.S., with special provisions for securing materials during strong winds or typhoon conditions. The project aims to enhance access control and security for sensitive medical facility areas, including patient records, equipment, and supplies.
