About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation FA521525Q0046 for a 692nd ISRG Hangar 5 Security System Upgrade. The project involves replacing the existing video surveillance system (VSS) with a new IP-based system, including 4 PTZ and 32 fixed cameras, and associated recording equipment. Key requirements include TAA-compliant cameras not manufactured in China, a standalone closed-loop system with no external network connections, and the ability to store 30 days of recordings. The system will be installed primarily indoors, with outside cameras mounted on existing posts, and must utilize current infrastructure like conduits and ceiling runs.

The project is a new requirement, with the previous installation performed by Security Resources Pacific, Inc. Camera heights will range from 8-60 feet, and the facility is approximately 55,000 square feet. The government seeks a firm fixed-price contract, emphasizing that pricing will not be adjusted based on the contractor's performance costs. Monitors are already installed, and the project includes removal and disposal of the existing camera system. The completion deadline is set for 30 September 2025, and funds are available and approved for the project.
