About this file
This document is a Government Minimum Characteristics Item Information (GMCII) for an air compressor upgrade at Yokota Air Base, Japan, issued by the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron. The solicitation requires two separate air compressor systems: a stationary air compressor for Buildings 530 and 1247, and a mobile air compressor for Building 530.
The stationary air compressor must deliver 25 CFM, operate at 6000 PSI, be housed in a sound-attenuating enclosure, and include a Programmable Logic Controller with a 7-inch color touchscreen. It requires four ASME code-stamped air cylinders, three-phase electrical configuration, and must produce CGA Grade E breathing air compliant with NFPA 1989. The mobile air compressor (DDTR25) features a diesel/electric dual drive system, telescoping light mast, hydraulic surge brakes, and two ASME air storage cylinders. Both systems require 24/7 technical support, and the contractor must possess Japanese electrical licenses and business permits for installation and disposal of the existing equipment. The delivery location is the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron at Yokota Air Base in Fussa-shi, Tokyo.
