About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing clarifications for a federal sports officiating contract with a 5-year base ordering period (no option years).
The document clarifies pricing structure, contract term, and operational requirements. Offerors must submit a single price per game that will remain valid for all five years; no separate pricing is required by year. The government provided historical game volume data across five sports to assist contractors in contingency planning: Basketball (2024: 26 games; 2025: 61 games), Volleyball (2024: 42 games; 2025: 36 games), Indoor Soccer (2024: 152 games; 2025: 140 games; 2026: 72 games with no officials required), Baseball/Softball (2024: 168 games; 2025: 135 games; 2026: no season), and Outdoor Soccer (2024: 81 games; 2025: 89 games). Administrative clarifications indicate that the contractor will coordinate with NAF HR to submit National Intelligence Agency Check (NIAC) screenings at no cost to the contractor, and project managers may attend required 1-hour pre- and post-season meetings remotely via Microsoft Teams or Zoom video conferencing.
