About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA5000255000, FY26 Youth Sports Officials and Scorekeepers, issued by the U.S. Air Force. The document clarifies ambiguities and provides guidance regarding contract requirements, pricing, and administrative procedures for potential offerors.
The contract requires staffing of sports officials and scorekeepers for youth sports programs with a base period of five months beginning April 26, 2026, and four option years if exercised. The scope involves providing certified officials and scorers across multiple sports including baseball/softball, indoor soccer, and volleyball at varying levels (Pee Wee, Bantams, Minors, Majors, and Juniors). Pricing must be submitted on a cost-per-game basis multiplied by the number of games per Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), with specific staffing requirements clarified through an updated Statement of Work (SOW). Key staffing clarifications include: one certified official for Pee Wee and Bantams soccer; two certified officials and two certified scorers for Minor, Major, and Junior soccer games; one umpire for coach-pitch baseball/softball; and two certified officials with one certified scorer for minor, major, and junior volleyball games. The government confirmed funding availability, identified the previous contract number (FA500021C0001) as a reference point for scope similarity, and clarified that certified but non-high school officials are permitted. All proposal due dates and suspenses are in Alaskan Daylight Time (AKDT). The document references an extended price list for game volume details and directs offerors to the updated SOW and Independent Government Estimate (IGE) for any remaining discrepancies between pricing schedules and statement of work requirements.
