AERIAL TARGETS II O&M RECOMPETE
FA4890-14-R-0012
On 12 Nov 14 ACC AMIC posted the final RFP. Below, a question was received from Industry and the following Government response is provided:
Question: “As far as I can find, there are no Small Business goals specified in the solicitation other than those specified in the FAR. FAR Small Business requirements are defined as a percentage of the subcontracted dollars. Is this correct?”
Government Response: See L-9.14, which states, “Small Business Subcontracting Plan (Large Business Prime Contractors Only). Provide a Subcontracting Plan that complies with FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs, and its supplements. Identify the percentage of intended business with each of the following small business socioeconomic categories: Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women- Owned Small Business. All small business subcontracting goals shall be expressed in terms of percentage goals. Small business subcontracting goals must be expressed in terms of percent of contract value in addition to percent of subcontracted amount (Ref AFFARS 5319.7)”
