MISSION
• Detect, monitor, identify, intercept, report, and, if necessary, destroy airborne objects that may pose a threat to US or its allies.
• Integrate air defense forces with service components and allies.
• Perform Air Surveillance, Airspace Control, Force Management, Tactical
Data Link Management and Threat Warning.
• C2 contract provides CAT, CWD, DL services, training system support/mission system interface, and staff support services to:

– Deploy, manage, and assess a web-based training environment in both synchronous (real time, on-line) and asynchronous (on-demand, off-line) delivery systems
– Learning Management System (LMS): student administration, faculty administration, course and curriculum (development and execution) management, catalog management, record management, etc
– Knowledge Management System (KMS): all C2 personnel training data
– Content Management System (CMS): courseware content pulled, pushed, and reused thru the LMS
– Evaluation Database (ED): evaluation content thru the LMS
– DL Assessment System: customer support , system performance monitor, software configuration, help desk
FUNDING
