MEMORANDUM FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS
FROM: ACC AMIC/PKCB
SUBJECT: Solicitation FA4890-13-R-0007, Mobile Air Surveillance System (MASS); Schedule and
Clearance Information Update for Site Visit
1. Due to the interruption of Government operations from 1 – 17 October 2013, the MASS site visit tentatively scheduled for 4 - 8 November 2013 is postponed to 18 – 22 November 2013. The site visit is tentatively planned to begin at 0700 in Melbourne, FL on 18 November; visit the three sites in Colombia from 19 – 21 November; then travel to the site in Key West, FL on 22 November. The pre-proposal conference will be moved to the first week in December after the final RPF is posted on or about 25 November with a tentative proposal due date of 6 January 2014.
2. For all potential offerors who have already submitted the required documentation for country clearance please also fill out the attached spread sheet with the information for your company’s two travelers and one alternate for the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). We will input the information into the STEP system for you. Please return the information no later than 23 Oct 2013 at 1600 Eastern Time.
3. If you have not already done so, please obtain clearance to enter the JIATF-S facility on the Site Visit.
Also you must have your security personnel enter your information into JPAS as soon as possible.
Anyone without a security clearance has to provide proof of US citizenship. The following information will be required to complete this process:
• SMO code for JIATF-S – W453AA2
• JIATF-S security office telephone number – 305-293-5767
• POC – Lt Col Jeffrey Doyle at 305-293-5487
