APPENDIX M
FOREIGN TRAVEL CLEARANCE
All contractor personnel traveling overseas in support of the MASS program shall obtain a Country/Theater clearance authorization. Submit request for clearances to ACC
AMIC/PLG and AMIC/PSU. Prior to submitting a clearance request, a request must be submitted in the SPOT system. SPOT stands for Synchronized Predeployment and
Operational Tracker. It is the joint enterprise suite of systems employed for the management, tracking and visibility of contracted capability and contractors authorized to accompany U.S. forces overseas. SPOT can be found at:

After the SPOT request has been approved, then submit a country/theater request.
NOTE 1: Prior to OFFICIAL travel, it is mandatory for travelers to read, understand, and comply with - General Order Number 1 (Prohibited Activities for US
Department of Defense and Certain US Coast Guard Personnel Present Within the United
States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR)
Note 2: Effective 30 September 2011 (per USSOUTHCOM Policy Memorandum 07-11, dated 5 May 2011, all DoD Contractors planning to travel on official government business in SOUTHCOMs AOR must be registered in the Synchronized Predeployment
Operational Tracker (SPOT) System. The term “contractor” in the instance includes the following personnel working on DoD funded contracts: a.)All US citizens; b Third
Country Nationals, Host nation, or local nationals who reside with or work in the immediate vicinity of US Forces and/or DoD civilians for periods of performance anticipated to exceed 30 days. The term “contractor” also applies to all tiers of subcontractors whose contracts’ primary place of performance is USSOUTHCOM HQ or who temporarily perform duties in USSOUTHCOM HQ for periods exceeding 30 days.

USSOUTHCOM Theater until they are registered in SPOT and posses a SPOT-generated
Letter of Authorization.

(Force_Protection_Questionnaire.docx) prior to clearance approval. Once completed, for Personnel PCS or TDY to JTF-B and its major subordinate commands (ARFOR/JEB, 1/228th, JSF, 612 ABS and MEDEL) must send their signed USMILGP Force Protection Questionnaire to:

TRAINING

ANTI TERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION
(1) AT/FP training requirements are available on the USSOUTHCOM home page at service components link or at
HTTPS://ATLEVEL1.DTIC.MIL/AT/.
(2) Training must have been accomplished within the past 12 months.
PRMS ISOPREP TRAINING ( DD Form 1833): Set appointment with ACC
AMIC/PLGD (Mr. Dozier) to complete this on the SIPRNET. If you are geographically separated, other arrangements will be made to complete this requirement.
SERE 100.1 LEVEL A: This training is required every three (3) years. If you have attended the SERE School, the training is good for life. The CBT can be accomplished on the NIPRNET by accessing the following sites: HTTP://JKO.JFCOM.MIL or
