About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal linen supply contract opportunity involving laundry and scrub services for two locations: Medical Group (MDG) and Hospital Primary Treatment (HPT).
The contract requires linen processing services with full volume operations by Month 2 for both locations. For MDG, the estimated annual workload is 25,700 pounds of laundry, with a guaranteed minimum that may vary minimally on a quarterly basis without requiring contract modifications. For HPT, the requirement includes 2,850 scrubs weekly with a total scrub inventory of 2,805 items. The bid schedule uses weekly totals from the Independent Government Estimate (IGE): 577 units for MDG and 1,000 scrubs per week for HPT. Contractors must implement quarterly scrub resets and maintain a separate accountability system documenting weight and physical pieces of linen. The current incumbent is Mission Linen Supply under contract FA488722D0002. Pricing should follow the quantities specified in the bid schedule, and the HPT poly-cart and linen-maintenance pricing cells calculate correctly into totals. Contractors must submit monthly invoices on the first business day following the billing period, with payment expected within 30 calendar days from invoice submission in WAWF or Government acceptance of services, whichever is later, under the Prompt Payment Act. The Government will conduct inspection and acceptance through a combination of 100% visual inspection, random sampling, and customer feedback via the Contracting Officer's Representative or Flight Chief.
