About this file

This document is a Task Order specification for Vehicle Barrier Maintenance and Repair Services at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, covering a one-year base period with four one-year option periods.

The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, and minor repair services for 24 vehicle barrier systems across four gates (North Gate, South Gate, Lightning Gate, and associated bollard systems). The barrier systems consist of electric wedge-type RSS-2000 model barriers (manufactured in 2010) equipped with pit heaters, control panels using S&B Allen Bradley technology, traffic control systems including overhead lights and wig wag indicators, and vehicle detection systems with induction loop and radar capabilities at certain gates. Support equipment includes removable Cal Pipe bollards (10-12 units per gate) used to close inbound and outbound lanes. All equipment is currently operational. The contractor must provide maintenance in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and shall price the task order using the "VB MR Task Order Pricing Matrix" with separate worksheets for each of the five ordering periods. Specific maintenance responsibilities include system inspections, repairs, and upkeep of all barrier equipment, control systems, traffic management devices, and associated support equipment at Luke AFB.
