CLIN 0002 PWS 12 IDS

Q1) The 12 AF PWS has verbiage of 5 year emergency 24 hour service requirement. Should this be removed?

ANSWER: Yes. The 5 year emergency 24 hour service requirement has been removed from the PWS. Please see updated PWS to reflect change.

CLIN 0002 PWS 12 IDS

Q1) The 12 AF PWS came with some comments that were not included into the actual document and seem to contradict what is outlined. Should the comments be taken into consideration when submitting a quote?

ANSWER: An updated PWS was submitted to reflect the changes made by SME regarding Vindicator requirements.

Q2) The 12 AF PWS did not indicate the quantities of devices to be quoted under this scope. Can a basic floor plan or another means of identifying hardware quantities be provided for all 3 CLINs under this solicitation?

ANSWER: An updated PWS (CLIN 0002) was submitted to reflect quantity. CLIN 0001, 355 SFS and CLIN 0003, 55 RQS have identified quantity in their PWS.

CLIN 0001 PWS 355th SFS Door Badging

Q1) RE: Paragraph 1.2.1.2 Equipment Removal. In Room 114, will the scope include removing the existing Schneider control enclosure to allow wall space for the new Vindicator controls enclosures?

ANSWER: Yes, the Schneider control enclosure must be removed prior to the installation of the new equipment

CLIN 0002 PWS 12 IDS

Q1) Paragraph 1.0 Secure rooms 131, 139. Do these systems need to meet IDS requirements for open collateral protection levels?

ANSWER: The rooms already meet IDS requirements

Q2) Paragraph 1.0 Honeywell Badge Manger. Will card printing w/ photo id capabilities need to be a requirement of the system?

ANSWER: Photo ID capabilities will not be required

Q3) Paragraph 5, sub a. will 2 strands of fiber patched from building 12 to building 1358 be provided by the Government?

ANSWER: Fiber should already be existing. 355 COMM Infostructure will need to verify/confirm is fiber exists

CLIN 0003 PWS 55 RSQ IDS

Q1) RE: Paragraph 1.0.1 states that database will be controlled by vindicators PC Smart pack software. Paragraph

1.1.6 states that a Vindicator Badge Manger will be required.

Could we get clarification on which database management system is required?

ANSWER: The Vindicator Badge Manager 3 with built in VBM software client is required, which will route to the Vindicator Access Control System that allows authority levels, personnel group, and location rules that ties to the door control board. The door control board ties to the door strike, request exit, and card reader.

Vindicator IDS must annunciate alarms to BDOC from the Vindicator Access Control System to include card duress, AC and DC power fails.

Q2) Will badge Printing w/ photo ID capabilities be a requirement of the system?

ANSWER: Photo ID capabilities are not a requirement for the badges and are not being requested by the 55

RQS.

Q3) Will 2 strands of fiber patched from Bldg. 1610 to Bldg. 1358 be provided by the Government?

Or will these systems be networked on the Base NIPRNet?

ANSWER: The system will require utilization of the base NIPRnet.
