Building 60 Site Visit Questions:
1. Asbestos report? (attached)
2. Are all materials listed in base standards?
Yes, however like material needs to be replaced with like. Example – the vinyl base in the building is a 6”, not a typical 4”. Use cove corners on outside corners.
3. Customer needs to identify where they want network drops installed. Please ensure it is annotated on the building layout. – Per user requests, no network drops will be installed or needed
4. Confirm restroom layout is to be done per plan. I.E. no toilet in men’s room at main entrance. The restroom layout is to be done per plan: Men’s RR 15 has one HC toilet stall and one urinal. Men’s RR 45 is two urinals.
5. Confirm our scope of work regarding existing light fixtures. To be repaired or left in place?
All existing light fixtures are to be left in place or put back in place after installation of the new ceiling. The exception is the light fixtures in the restrooms, and the surface mounted fixtures in the office next to the Women’s RR 17 that will be reduced due to the revised Women’s RR. In this office, replace the light fixtures as new 2x2 LED fixtures into the new ceiling grid.
6. Lobby room, clarify COMM lines replacing SIPR? Answer is NO – In lobby room square conduits are dead and can be removed.
7. Who is responsible for furniture removal and replacement?
The User will be responsible for furniture removal and replacement. Coordinate with User the building phasing in order to establish timelines for removing and replacing the furniture.
