Additional RFI’s – FA481921R0023 CEMIRT Parking Area
1. AF Form 813 mentions paving a 792 sf area south of B9732, paving a 1040 sf area East of Metal Storage Pad, and paving a 2448 sf area south of the metal storage pad. Is this part of this project because it is not mentioned in the Scope of Work?
Scope of work is outlined in the RFP package. The AF form 813 does not dictate the scope and is only used to determine the environmental requirements of the project. The scope of work outlined in the RFP package is the work to be completed.
1. Will there be any county or city utility fees for this work?
No county or city utility fees are required to be paid.
1. Is providing a new open cover between buildings 1141 and 1144 part of this scope of work?
No
2. If so, please provides some more information on what type of cover is needed.

1. Is new water lines and fire hydrants part of this scope of work?
No, hydrant work is being conducted under another project. Any conflict with location of water lines within the construction limits of the project will be the responsibility of the contractor to relocate.
1. Will there need to be imported fill or is the existing soil usable?
Whenever possible reuse of existing soils is the preferred method. Any fill brought on base will have to be certified as clean and any spoils removed with be required to have a hazardous waste determination prior to removal.
