Summary for Subcatchment 1S: MAAS Storage Pad
Existing Site:
The existing site is cleared of trees and underbrush and is comprised of Resota Fine Sands with moderate established grass covering. No pre-development model or runoff totals were calculated since the proposed treatment facility will have no discharge offsite.
Proposed Drainage System:
The proposed concrete pad and immediate ground within the limits of construction denoted with silt fencing surrounding construction limits will be treated via swale system treatment. Off-site flows will temain undesturbed and will sheet drain south via the existing roadside drainage ditch system.
Design Guidelines:
Stormwater quantity treatment volumes were calculated based on FDOT rainfall 3 year / 1 hour distribution = 2.65 inches. per ERP AH Volumne II, Chapter 9

Summary for Pond 1P: Treatment Swale
Treatment Facility:
The treatment facility will consist of a 12" deep dry swale system with typical side slopes of 6:1 and no greater than 3:1. Following the completion of all construction and basin stabilization measures are complete, excess soil and undesirable material must be carefully excavated and removed from the swale so that all accumulated silts, clays, organics, and other fine sediment material has been removed from the facility area. Once cleared of excess material, swale bottoms must be raked and loosened for optimal infiltration. Once properly prepared, bottom and sides must be stabilized with permanent vegetative cover via hydroseeding or sod. All construction methods and activities must comply with the approved procedures outlined in the NWFWMD ERP AH Volume II, Part V Best Management Practices, Section 5.0.
Infiltration Rate:
Site is comprised of Reosta fine sand, 0 to 5 percent slopes with a Ksat Rating of 1476.9950 micrometers per second. Using FS=2, the infiltration rate =
17.5 in/hr. per USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Web Soil Survey
