About this file
This is a Notice to Offerors announcing the reopening of Request for Quotation FA481426Q0072 issued by the Department of the Air Force (FA4814) pursuant to Amendment 06. The solicitation has been reopened due to material changes in scope, and all previously submitted quotations will not be evaluated. Vendors must submit new or revised quotations by 24 September 2026 at 10:00 AM EST to remain eligible for award, and must acknowledge receipt of Amendment 06 in accordance with Block 11 of Standard Form 30. Questions concerning the amendment must be submitted in writing to the Contracting POC no later than 17 September 2026 at 10:00 AM EST.
The revised scope includes significant operational changes: Central Control Workstations (CCWs) increase from 3 to 4 units; Central Control Units (CCUs) expand from 3 to 4 units to enhance system redundancy; the RF infrastructure migrates from a VHF to UHF Radio Communication Network, requiring RF transceiver migration and antenna retuning; the Period of Performance is now fixed at 180 calendar days from contract award; Project Management Requirements now mandate submission of a Project Management Plan (PMP) and Integrated Project Schedule (IPS) within 10 business days of award; Standards Compliance upgrades from MIL-STD-188-124B to MIL-STD-188-124C; and Deliverables must be tracked through a formal consolidated Contract Data Requirements/Deliverables Matrix with explicit submission windows. These changes expand the physical footprint, licensing, hardware scope, and impose firm timeline constraints on procurement, deployment, and acceptance testing.
