SITE VISIT/JOB WALK MINUTES

REPAIR OVERHEAD AND UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL LINES BASEWIDE

SOLICITATION NO: FA4809-16-B-0001

1. A site visit/job walk for the subject project was held on 29 Mar 2016. The following Government personnel attended:

The site visit started at approximately 0900 hrs.

A. All attendees met in the parking lot outside of K-Mart on Berkeley Blvd at 0900 hrs, and everyone was directed towards the sixty passenger bus that LRS had provided.

B. At approximately 0900 hrs, the group moved from the K-Mart parking lot to Bldg 2903 for the initial site visit briefing. During the briefing, it was reiterated that section L specifies the format and contents of proposal and section M states how proposals will be evaluated. Bidders were reminded that this acquisition is set-aside for 8(a) firms nationwide in NAICS 238210. Only these firms are eligible to respond to the invitation for bid and compete for award.

C. At approximately 0930 hrs, the group departed from Bldg 2903 and headed to different locations throughout the base to look at the project. Attendees were allowed to take photographs of the site. All individuals in attendance were afforded the opportunity to look around and take measurements. After departing the site, attendees were driven back to the K-Mart parking lot. Attendees were informed that all questions need to be submitted in writing no later than 4 April 2016 at 1630 hrs EST.

3. There being no further items for discussion, the meeting adjourned at approximately 1130hrs and the group of contractors were taken back to their vehicles in the K-Mart Parking lot.

4. Sealed bids and 1 copy to perform the work required are due by 03:00 PM est on 21 Apr 16. Bids must be submitted to the location specified in section 8 on the first page of the solicitation. The location for the bid opening will be held at the Wayne County Community College at 04:00 PM est on 21 Apr 16 in the Walnut Building (Room 104, first floor).
