About this file

This document is a Contractor Questions and Answers file addressing inquiries related to the removal of existing shelving in Building 216's Main Warehouse.

The solicitation concerns the removal of 23 bays of racks, each measuring 108" x 42" x 144", with 2 levels per bay covered with plywood decking measuring 96" x 42". Contractors must remove all uprights, beams, and decking as part of this project. The removed material is not to be salvaged or retained by the Government; instead, contractors are instructed to dispose of all material in the most economical manner. The Government confirms that no anchor bolts are currently present on the existing shelves, eliminating the need to shave or remove old anchors during the installation phase.
