About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal architecture and engineering (A&E) services procurement solicitation numbered FA469026RA-E, dated April 2, 2026.
The document addresses a single question regarding the definition of "recent projects" for contractor qualification packages. Paragraph 4 of the solicitation requires contractors to use recent contracts—defined as projects completed within five (5) years of the SF 330 submission due date—when developing their qualifications packages. A contractor inquired whether this timeframe could be extended to seven (7) years from the SF 330 due date. The contracting officer definitively rejected this request, confirming that the five-year requirement is adequate and will not be modified.

1. In paragraph 4, it states that “Contractors shall use recent contracts for development of their qualifications package. Recent is defined as a project completed within five (5) years of the SF 330 due date.” Is it possible to extend this “recent project” definition to seven (7) years from the SF330 due date?
a. Unfortunately, no. It is determined that five (5) years is an adequate amount of time.
