About this file

This is a Solicitation Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA468626Q0006, a Sports Officiating and Scorekeeping Services IDIQ issued by the Department of the Air Force. Amendment 0002 was issued on August 17, 2026, and uploaded to Sam.gov.

The solicitation establishes an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for sports officiating and scorekeeping services with an ordering period of September 11, 2026 through September 10, 2030. Estimated quantities include 958 annual sports-officiating hours and 320 scorekeeping hours, representing individual labor hours per person and covering all required officials for multiple officials assigned to the same contest. Early-arrival time (minimum 15 minutes before each contest) and extended-game time (through overtime or extra innings) are included in billable hours. Scorekeepers do not require specific certification, training, or association membership, unlike sports officials. The contract is subject to Service Contract Labor Standards with FAR 52.222-43 included for price adjustments based on updated Department of Labor wage determinations. No minimum quantity or dollar guarantee is specified beyond clause 52.216-19. The Government does not currently anticipate simultaneous contests at multiple sites and will compensate for only one canceled competition per event site per day if officials have arrived, provided cancellation notice exceeds four hours. No separate CLINs are required for varsity-level sports. Pickleball has been removed from the scope. For technical acceptability, offerors must demonstrate a staffing plan showing ability to provide qualified officials rather than submit individual certifications at the quotation stage.

Q4: PWS Paragraph 7 states an ordering period of June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2030. The solicitation and price schedule state September 11, 2026 through September 10, 2030. Please confirm the applicable ordering period.?
