About this file

This is a Salient Characteristics document outlining the specifications and requirements for a containerized high pressure nitrogen generator system to be delivered to Dyess Air Force Base for the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command under Solicitation Number FA466126Q0078.

The primary deliverable is a skid-mounted or trailer-mounted nitrogen generator system capable of producing a minimum flow rate of 26 scfm at 95.5% nitrogen purity with adjustable output. The system must maintain a minimum storage pressure of 500 psig and discharge pressure of 400 psig, operate on 480VAC, 3-phase, 60Hz power, and fit within dimensions of 156 inches long by 78 inches wide by 74 inches tall while not exceeding 5,000 pounds. The design shall incorporate an air compressor feeding nitrogen membranes connected to a nitrogen booster compressor with 900 cubic feet of onboard storage capacity, enabling continuous operation for a minimum of 24 hours without interruption. The contractor must complete preliminary testing and system adjustments prior to delivery, followed by eight-hour acceptance testing at Simpro's facility demonstrating full compliance with production specifications. Delivery must occur within 120 days, with onsite installation, testing, and training to be completed within 14 days thereafter. The contractor shall provide a system matter expert/trainer for a minimum of three days of onsite training at Dyess Air Force Base, supply electronic operational manuals including vendor documentation, and furnish a minimum one-year warranty covering parts, workmanship, and equipment performance.
