About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) spreadsheet for Solicitation FA4626-25-Q-0019, detailing specifications for HVAC chillers to be procured by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command. The solicitation requires four HVAC chillers with specific configurations: one 70-ton unit with cold start and dry cooler, one 90-ton, one 40-ton, and one 50-ton chiller, to be delivered to Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. Key technical specifications include air-cooled outdoor units, 208V 3-phase 60 Hz power, propylene glycol and water fluid, 45°F chiller setpoint, 55°F process return temperature, and no installation required.

The Q&A document provides extensive technical details, confirming voltage requirements, ambient temperature conditions, and specific performance criteria such as entering/leaving water temperatures and fluid flow rates. Notable points include no brand preference, comfort cooling application, on-site power availability, and a delivery deadline with potential consequences for missed timelines. Potential vendors must ensure their proposed chillers meet the detailed specifications, with no formal submittal review process planned. The solicitation indicates questions were due by April 27th, with an emphasis on precise technical compliance for the HVAC unit procurement.
