About this file

The file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation FA4626-25-Q-0019, detailing requirements for HVAC chillers to be delivered to Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. The solicitation seeks four HVAC units: one 70-ton chiller with a cold start and dry cooler, one 90-ton chiller, one 40-ton chiller, and one 50-ton chiller, with specific technical specifications including 208V 3-phase 60 Hz power requirements, air-cooled outdoor units, and propylene glycol and water as process fluid.

Key details include delivery to 341 CES at Malmstrom AFB, no installation required, factory startup needed, and comfort cooling application. Technical specifications consistently cite 40-ton units with 93 gpm design flow, entering temperature of 54F, leaving temperature of 44F, and ambient temperature of 95F. No specific brand preference exists, but chillers must meet outlined specifications. The solicitation indicates considerations will be pursued if delivery deadlines are not met, and there is no formal submittal process for proposed chillers. Questions were due by April 27th, with the document intended to clarify specifications for the requirement.
