About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation Number FA4626-25-Q-0019, which involves the procurement of four HVAC chillers for Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. The solicitation requires one 70-ton HVAC chiller with a cold start and dry cooler, one 90-ton chiller, one 40-ton chiller, and one 50-ton chiller, with specific technical specifications including air-cooled operation, 460V 3PH 60HZ electrical requirements, and propylene glycol and water as process fluid.

Key details include delivery to 341 CES at Malmstrom AFB, no installation required, factory startup needed, and no specific brand preference. Technical specifications are consistent across questions, with entering water temperature at 55F, leaving temperature at 45F, design ambient temperature of 95F, and altitude of 3,600 feet. The chillers are for comfort cooling, with a 50% glycol mix. Questions were due by April 27th, and the document clarifies voltage, power, and operational requirements to potential bidders. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command.
