About this file
This is Amendment 0008 to solicitation FA462026QA202, issued by the 92nd Contracting Squadron at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, effective March 5, 2026. The amendment is directed to all offerors and does not extend the solicitation deadline. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the original offer deadline by completing and returning one copy of the amendment, acknowledging receipt on each copy of their offer, or sending a separate letter or telegram referencing both the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt may result in rejection of the offer.
The amendment provides responses to six contractor questions (Q22-Q27) and replaces the Statement of Work with Revision 3. Key clarifications include: the 0.5-inch clearance requirement applies to the entire row of bins rather than individual bins, with a minimum carrier width of 96.5 inches meeting requirements; the acceptable access opening range is 19.5 to 32 inches high across all appendices; all carousels must comply with applicable safety regulations and standards; standard manufacturer warranties on parts and labor apply with no government-specified minimum warranty period; the acceptable carousel depth is 65.80 to 72 inches for all units; and a multipurpose carrier length of 96 inches is acceptable provided the required 0.5-inch overall bin clearance is maintained. Contractors are required to sign and return one copy of the amendment with their proposal, completing blocks 15a, 15b, and 15c. Attachment 1: Statement of Work (REV3) supersedes all previous versions.

Amendment 0008 Page 2
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
The purpose of this Amendment is to provide additional responses to questions submitted by prospective contractors and to revise the Statement of Work.
1. Responses to Contractor Questions
All questions and answers are provided below. All applicable revisions have been incorporated into
Attachment 1: Statement of Work (REV3).
Q22: Previously on Appendix A – Carousel C, Appendix D – Carousel H, and Appendix E – Carousel G the carrier was specified as L = 95-98-1/2” however it now states L = 98.5”-100”. The solicitation states that bins require “0.5” of clearance overall (height and width).” Is the government’s intent that the 0.5-inch clearance applies to the entire row of bins (total), not per bin? If so, would a carrier width of 96.5 inches clear be acceptable for Appendix A – Carousel C, Appendix D – Carousel H, and Appendix E – Carousel G?
A22: See revised SOW with updates to all Appendices. Yes. The Government’s intent is that the required 0.5” clearance applies overall for the row of bins, not per individual bin. As reflected in the revised Appendices A, D, and E, a multipurpose carrier length that provides a minimum of 96.5” of clear usable width for eight 12” bins (plus 0.5” total clearance) meets the stated bin clearance requirement.
Q23: For all appendices, please confirm whether a reduced access opening is acceptable and validate the sizing of the multipurpose carriers as each appendix has different measurements. Each appendix specifies an access opening of 21"–32" and multipurpose carrier heights varies by appendix but ranges 18"–20". Since only one carrier is accessed at a time and the full carrier would still be visible and reachable at the work counter for ergonomics and worker safety, would a clear access opening of 19.5" be acceptable across all appendices?
A23: See revised SOW with updates to all Appendices. The acceptable Access Opening/Clear Access Opening range is 19.5” to 32” high.
Q24: Should all vertical carousel units include a red emergency stop button on both the left and right side of the unit access opening for operator safety like the existing units as shown in the images?
A24: See revised SOW. All carousels and associated components shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Q25: Typical warranty for this equipment type is 2 years from date of installation. What is the minimum warranty period that should be provided by the manufacturer, and should that include all parts and labor for the warranty period?
A25: The SOW has been updated for clarity. Standard manufacturer warranties on parts and labor shall apply.
The Government does not specify a minimum warranty period beyond the manufacturer’s standard warranty.
Q26: The unit dimensions depth of 65.80”-72” deep meets the required carrier depths of 24”-26” for Appendix
A, Appendix B, and Appendix C. Is a unit depth of 65.8” deep acceptable for Appendix D, Appendix E, Appendix F, and Appendix G?
A26: See revised SOW with updates to all Appendices. The acceptable carousel depth is 65.80” – 72” for all units.

Amendment 0008 Page 3
Q27: The allowable multipurpose carrier size range changed on some of the appendices when SOW Rev. 2 was issued. Please confirm the required carrier dimensions across all appendices. Is a length of 96” acceptable?
A27: The revised SOW with updated Appendices supersedes all previous versions. A multipurpose carrier length of 96” falls within the acceptable range. Contractors are reminded that the required 0.5” overall bin clearance (height and width) must still be met.
2. Revised Statement of Work
a. Attachment 1: Statement of Work (REV2) is hereby replaced with Attachment 1: Statement of
Work (REV3). Attachment 1: Statement of Work (REV3) supersedes and replaces all previous versions of the Statement of Work.
All other items remain unchanged.
Fill out blocks 15a, 15b, and 15c and provide a copy with your proposal.
