This amendment answers questions from the site visit/preproposal conference, as well as updated information in the pricing schedule regarding bundling/wrapping of cleaned items and update to building numbers and pick-up/drop-off schedule.

AMENDMENT 002

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1. How in depth does the Essential Contractor Services Plan (252.237-7024) need to be?

The plan needs to be in enough detail, as described in the clause para (b)(2), to address the steps the contractor will take if a natural disasters, severe/inclement weather, pandemic, and a variety of other crisis situation occurred.

2. Which price is the evaluated price on the pricing schedule?

The total evaluated price will be the proposed price (price for all ordering periods) plus the extension of services. The extension of services will be calculated by taking 50% of the last ordering period and when added to the proposed price makes the total evaluated price.

3. How are items to be bundled and wrapped once cleaned?

The wrapping used should be what is used as a standard commercial practice and items needing wrapped and specific bundle counts will be identified on the updated Pricing Schedule, Appendix A and PWS para 1.1.1. If bundle are less than what is identified in the Pricing Schedule, bundle total quantity received.

4. What is the required zipper turn-around time for replacement?

Required zipper replacement turn-around time is 1 week per the PWS para 1.4.

5. Does each bin need to be swapped out every delivery at every location?

PWS para 1.2.1 state bins will be provide for each individual customer to collect soiled items and be replaced with all clean items. If quantities do not require bins to be completely swapped out, items can be replaced in the same bin.
