Notes From Site Visit

FUEL: Base POL pumps fuel directly into storage location in the facility from which it is then redistributed to multiple storage locations in close proximity to each generator.

GENERATORS:

Generator 1: Built in 2009 – electric start – 13,800 volts – 2000 kilowatts Generator 4: Built in 1970 – Air Start – 4,160 volts – 3000 kilowatts – Has a minor leak but does not affect operation – scheduled for repair in October Generator 5: Built in 1970 – Air Start – 4,160 volts – 3000 kilowatts – Out of commission with no current plans for re-commissioning Generator 6: Built in 1970 – Air Start – 4,160 volts – 3000 kilowatts Generator 7: Built in 1997 – Air Start – 4,160 volts – 3000 kilowatts

RELAYS: All relays were recently recalibrated

CIRCUIT BREAKER: Some circuit breaker panels were recently rebuilt following the flooding

OPERTING SYSTEM: Allen Bradley is the system used for all the controllers

COOLING TOWER: The cooling tower supplies cooling to generators #4 & #6 (Cooper generators). The contractor is not responsible to maintain the cooling tower.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Contractor will be responsible to generate the power but any power leaving the facility will be the responsibility of CES -CES will be responsible to ensure the power gets to the expected locations -CES will be responsible for any major repairs to the facility (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, lighting)
