Replace Broken Storm Drain Pipe Bldg 764 Parking Lot

SECTION 01010 – UNIQUE SITE REQUIREMENTS

PART 1 GENERAL

1.1 AVAILABILITY OF WORK SITE

Government personnel will occupy sites adjacent to the work location during the contract period. The contractor shall coordinate the work so as to allow minimum inconvenience to the government. Government work hours are from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. If deviation from official contract work hours is required; the contractor will submit a written request to deviate from official work hours three working days in advance of the requirement to the Contracting Officer and include:

1) State reason why deviation is necessary

a) Requested working hours

b) Dates required and/or duration

c) List of employees working the deviation

2) Work to be performed

3) Confirm if digging, utility cut-offs, or other work requiring Construction Contract

Inspector will be done

4) Indicate if work will or will not be at an additional cost to the government

Contractor will continue performing during official contract work hours until Contracting Officer’s approval is obtained to deviate.

1.2 GOVERNMENT OCCUPANCY

A. The Government will occupy the site adjacent to work location during the entire period of construction for the conduct of normal operations.

B. Cooperate with Government to minimize conflict, and to facilitate Government's operations.

C. Schedule the Work to accommodate Government occupancy.

1.3 PRODUCTS

Reinforced concrete pipe and concrete sealants shall meet the performance requirement as set forth in the Federal Specifications SS-S-210 and ASTM C-990-91
