About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) log for a Tree Maintenance project at Travis Air Force Base in California. The RFI covers details about tree trimming and removal, including species (Eucalyptus, Ash, Pear, Cypress Pine, Magnolia, Mulberry, Sycamore, Juniper, Oak, Podocarpus), tree size classifications by diameter at breast height (DBH), and specific operational requirements. Key requirements include performing work between 0700-1700 Monday through Friday, contractor-provided traffic control, on-site equipment storage, and complete removal of trees and waste from the installation. The procurement is a total small business set-aside, allowing subcontractors, with a site visit already conducted on 11 September 2025. Contractors will need to provide a financial institution statement, handle tree disposal independently, and work within specified base guidelines, with trees ranging from 7 to 100 feet in height.
